County Girls Get Fit with Spelling

Monday 25th January 2021

With the National Lockdown ongoing, our County Talent Pathway Girls Squads have recently been encouraged to be creative with their remote fitness challenges.

This week, our U15 Girls Red Caps Squad were challenged to run a letter, to spell out a word as a team. In total, 137km were covered and the words ‘Culture’ and ‘Values’ were spelt in the process.

Molly Davis, our U15 Girls Red Caps Coach informed us “It was not a bad effort at all from the girls, the distance they covered was very impressive. Creative fitness ideas such as this really help to motivate in a tough time.”

The players have a healthy challenge on their hands keeping fit throughout this period and they will be looking forward to getting back together as a squad to prepare for the summer season.
