‘Give it a Go’ Days for Girls

Tuesday 13th July 2021

Kent Cricket are soon to run some ‘Give it a Go’ days for girls to experience the skills of cricket.

In the Summer Holidays, for girls aged 8, 9 or 10 (on Sept 1st 2021), the sessions will be designed to give players a chance to Bat, Bowl, Wicket-Keep and Field, with some game play to finish. Our team of county specialist coaches witll be responsible for designing the drills, to make them engaging, game-like and fun.

With the growing number of girls playing cricket through the ECB AllStars and Dynamos programmes, these sessions will be an opportunity for girls to hone the new skills they have learnt and also learn about the upcoming U11 County Trials later in the year.
Registration for the Kent Cricket ‘Give it a Go’ days is now open. No prior cricket experience is necessary and no equipment is needed, these sessions are open to any ability! The sessions will be the same format so it is encouraged to just book onto one. Each session should last for approx 2 hours. Venues/Times are TBC, but will be local to the region you book onto.
