Kent LDPD squad compete for the Stringer Trophy

Sunday 22nd August at Hollingbourne CC saw the inaugural game between Dart Techs CC and the Kent LDPD squad for the Stringer trophy.

It was the request of long serving Dart Techs player Jonathon Stringer, who for many years lived with Cystic Fibrosis and who passed away in 2017, that an annual Trophy in his name be played for. Dart Techs CC along with Southfleet CC have been developing links in recent years in supporting the Kent LDPD squad so it was an honour for the team to be asked to play for the Trophy.

The game was played in excellent spirit from both sides with everyone in both teams batting and bowling and Dart Techs winning the game by 64 runs.
