‘Women in Cricket’ Community Chair Vacancy

Tuesday 6th September 2022

We’re delighted to share an amazing opportunity for you to apply in becoming the first chair for the game’s Women in Cricket Community.

As part of the ECB’s EDI ambitions, they have committed to bringing people together from underrepresented groups, in turn influencing change across the game. As they thrive towards their ambitions in making cricket a gender balanced sport, they are excited to establish the first ever Women in Cricket Community.

The Women in Cricket Community will work closely with the ECB and Counties to represent women across the workforce, and the Chair will be responsible for leading the community to help to ensure women’s voices across cricket are better heard and their experiences are shared and understood.

Applications for this voluntary role, that has a 12 month term, are now live, with the deadline of the 7th September and interviews taking place on WC 19th September. The role is open to females, inclusive of transgender women (at whatever stage of transition) and those who identify as non-binary (assigned female at birth).
