Cowdrey and Dickson included in LV= County Championship squad

Sean Dickson could make his first-class debut for Kent in the LV= County Championship match at Derbyshire on Friday (11am start).

The 23-year-old Johannesburg-born batsman who holds a UK passport was included in the squad for the washed-out Royal London One-Day Cup match at Edgbaston on Wednesday but could make his red-ball debut after signing a pro contract with Kent in July.

Fabian Cowdrey returns to the four-day squad after hitting a half-century against Nottinghamshire in the One-Day Cup on Monday evening.

All-rounders Matt Coles and Darren Stevens are rested after a busy schedule of limited-overs cricket.
