A product of the Kent Cricket Academy, Bell-Drummond has made over 350 appearances for Kent since making his first-team debut in 2011, scoring 15,000 runs across all formats, & averaging more than 35.00 overall.

One of only six Kent cricketers to score a century in all formats for the county, the 29-year-old has 25 Kent hundreds to his name, including a magnificent 300 not out against Northamptonshire this week in the LV= Insurance County Championship, coming off the back of 111 against Middlesex in the Vitality Blast in the same week.

He is the third Kent cricketer to score 300 or more wearing the White Horse.

On extending his time at Kent, Bell-Drummond said: “I have been at Kent since I was 7 years old so I’m always very proud to wear the Kent shirt and I still get the same feeling every time I put it on.

“This is a special group of players that we have at the Club and after our recent wins in white-ball cricket, we’re focused on giving everything to bring more success to Canterbury in the near future.”

Kent’s Director of Cricket, Paul Downton, said: “Daniel is an integral part of the Kent team.

“He has worked so hard in recent years to improve his game and it’s been great to see him being rewarded with big scores in both red ball and white ball cricket. When he is playing well the side plays well.

“We’re delighted that Daniel has committed his future to his boyhood club for at least another two seasons.”
