End of 2022 Season Partnerships Update

Following the end of the 2022 season, our Director of Partnerships, Andy Griffiths, takes a look back the past 12 months & also looks ahead to 2023:

Together, Kent Cricket ended the season on a high, with our Men’s side winning the Royal London Cup Final & finishing fifth in the LV= Insurance County Championship. What a great achievement to win a trophy two years running!

Whilst credit is given to the players & support staff for their on-field performances, partnerships are vital for us and our future success.

We continue to grow participation in the game & support wider community programmes to address social isolation & support healthier lifestyles. I would like to thank all of Kent Cricket’s Partners across 2022 for their continued support of Kent Cricket. Their commitment & investment into the Club helps to enable the success we are all enjoying.

I have enjoyed seeing so many partners, stakeholders & guests at Canterbury & Beckenham during the 2022 season discussing how we can all make change, develop the game & work in partnership together to achieve each other’s objectives.

We approach the Winter months full steam ahead planning for next season:

• Fixture announcements are coming soon
• Pre-season preparation
• Event planning for 2023
• Renewing & securing new partnerships with Kent businesses
• Securing grants & funds to deliver charitable programmes to support social isolation
• Delivering our beautiful game into schools across the county

…and so many things I have forgotten – some say it is busier in the off-season than it is in the season, & I tend to agree with them.

Going into 2023, I’m looking forward to developing strong ties with our local community & locally-based businesses.

Aston Lark has become a Community Partner of the Club & will be our Official Insurance Broker for the next three years, joining our new Official Helmet & Neck Protection Partner Masuri & our new Formalwear Partner County Clothes on deals running until at least the end of 2025.

Team Kent Business Club Partners Dafabet & Everlast Fitness have extended their partnerships with us from one to three years, Ambition Sport Ltd. have become Team Kent Business Partners for the next three years, & I’d also like to welcome FanCraze as our Official T20 Live Stream partners for the next three years as well.

I hope all of Kent Cricket’s Partners ‘Winter well’ over the Festive Period, & 2023 will soon be upon us.
