Kent captain Tammy Beaumont and spinner Laura Marsh played in the first two matches of the series with the prospect of winning the series on home turf at Canterbury.

The Academy graduates impressed in the win at Hove on Tuesday with Beaumont hitting her fourth ODI century and Marsh taking two wickets as England won by 69 runs to square the series after defeat at Worcester on Saturday.

The 27-year-old Dover-born batsman grew up watching Kent at Canterbury and is relishing the chance to bat at The Spitfire Ground in an international for the first time.

Pembury-born Marsh is line for her 160th international appearance since her debut in August 2006.

Head coach Mark Robinson said: “It’s important for Dani and Lauren that they get the chance to play more cricket so we’re freeing them up to play for the Academy. Kate will come into the group to offer another seam-bowling option.”
