Ford return delayed

KENTCounty Cricket Club today confirmed that the arrival of Graham Ford (pictured), the Club’s Director of Cricket, for the start of the season has been delayed pending finalisation of his visa arrangements.

New UKBorder Agency requirements for 2009 have led to unexpected delays in securing Ford’s visa and he will be returning to the Club as soon as these are completed.

Kent Chief Executive, Paul Millman, said: ’It is extremely frustrating for Graham not to be back for the start of our pre-season. We are doing all we can to expedite matters and will get him here as soon as possible. He is in regular touch with Simon Willis and Phil Relf on all pre-season matters and is providing valuable advice on a daily basis.’
