Funfair & Fireworks Spectacular postponed until 2021

Kent Cricket can sadly confirm that the scheduled annual Funfair & Fireworks Spectacular at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence will not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19 related restrictions.
Originally scheduled to take place on Thursday 5th November 2020, the Club’s annual fireworks display will now return on Friday 5th November, 2021.
Kent Cricket CEO, Simon Storey, said: “We’re extremely disappointed to postpone this year’s Funfair & Fireworks Spectacular until next year.
“We regularly see thousands of people at the event at The Spitfire Ground and over the past few years it has become one of the biggest and best fireworks displays in Canterbury.
“However, we’re already planning to come back with a bang in 2021 – with the attractions of live music, fairground rides and much more that people enjoy at Kent Cricket on Fireworks night.”
