George Garrett’s first impressions of Kent are in Episode #3 of the Kent Cricket Podcast

One of our new seam bowling recruits for 2024, George Garrett is the latest guest on the Kent Cricket Podcast!

This past Summer’s Kent Spitfires One Day Cup Podcast gained over 2,000 listens throughout our time playing in sky blue, with listeners from around the globe giving the Club’s podcast several five star reviews for interviews with the likes of Joe Denly, Jack Leaning, Michael Hogan and more.

This week the show is really excited to introduce you to George Garrett.

Listen as George takes us through his interesting academy journey, what it is like living with (other new Kent signing) Mikey Cohen, and what the Kent faithful can expect to see from him in the 2024 season.

The episode is sponsored by the Kent Cricket Community Trust, the charitable arm of Kent Cricket.

The Trust aims to make a positive impact in the Community, by providing opportunities that promote social inclusion and cohesion. With cricket’s unique ability to reach beyond a diverse range of social boundaries, their programmes support social isolation and well-being.

Kent Cricket Christmas Carvery

We’re excited to announce the return of the Christmas Carvery, an invitation extended to all Members and supporters of Kent Cricket, at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Monday 4 December.

Traditionally reserved for Members of the Club in years past, this edition will see the invitation once again extended to the Club’s supporters, as well as Members, as a thank you for loyal support shown towards Kent in the 2023 season.

As well as a two-course carvery meal that includes festive favourites, there will also be a Live Q&A session with newly-appointed Director of Cricket, Simon Cook, and Club Captain, Daniel Bell-Drummond.

Guests are asked to arrive at the Chiesman Pavilion from 12 noon for a 12:30 start.

Prices for the Kent Cricket Christmas Carvery are as follows:

  • £32.50 for all 2024 Kent Members & Life Members
  • £35 for non-Members
