Gorham & Sturge sign senior Stars deals

Two more talented Kent Women cricketers have signed terms with the South East Stars, as Sydney Gorham & Megan Sturge bolster the Kentish contingent at the Women’s Regional side.
Both products of the Kent County Age Group system, the two young talents have both already made senior appearances for the Stars after having previously had deals at the Region’s Academy during the 2021 season.
For Kent, both Gorham & Sturge were involved in 2021’s double-winning teams that won both the South East Group of the ECB’s Women’s County T20 competition, as well as the Women’s London Championship.
They now join a host of Kent talent at the Stars on senior contracts, including the likes of Tash Farrant, Alice Davidson-Richards, Kalea Moore and Phoebe Franklin.
The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence will once again host a full England Women’s One-Day International (WODI) match in 2022, with a Royal London WODI against India under the lights in Canterbury on Wednesday, 21 September.
