Ivan Thomas undergoes surgery
Wednesday 26th September 2018
Fast bowler Ivan Thomas will have surgery today after suffering a serious knee injury in training before the Specsavers County Championship Division 2 clash against Glamorgan at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence last week.
The 27-year-old twisted his knee and tore the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee and will now require a full reconstruction.
It is expected to keep him out of action for between six to nine months.
Following the surgery, Thomas will begin a detailed rehabilitation programme and be continually monitored throughout his recovery by the Club’s medical staff.
All of us at the club wish him a very safe and speedy recovery.
