Jeremy Cowdrey appointed Vice President of Kent Cricket

Kent Cricket is pleased to confirm that Jeremy Cowdrey has been appointed a Vice President of the Club, following his retirement as Vice Chair and after six years of service on the Club’s Board and General Committee.

As well as supporting the Chair and giving substantial time to Board matters, Jeremy was instrumental in organising Kent Cricket’s 150th Year Celebration at Canterbury Cathedral in 2020, as well as other major Club events during his time on the Board.

Kent Cricket’s Chair, Simon Philip, said: “Jeremy has given great service to Kent Cricket, as is the family tradition.

“He has been a tremendous ambassador for the Club and given a great deal of wise counsel to the Board.  I have particularly appreciated his advice.

“Appointment as a Vice President is the highest award that the Club can give and Jeremy’s service is richly deserving of this accolade.”
