Kent contingent to take part in Atlanta Open T20

A host of current & former Kent cricketers have travelled to the United States to join one of 16 franchises competing in the second edition of the Atlanta Open T20 from 5-9 October.
Taking place at Atlanta Cricket Fields near Chestatee, Georgia, two current Kent players & one now former Spitfire will compete against the likes of Angelo Perera, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Rahkeem Cornwall, Ravi Bopara, Oshane Thomas & Samit Patel in the tournament.
Kent big-hitter Alex Blake has joined Paramveers United & will team up with the likes of Jason Mohammed, Sherfane Rutherford & Danny Lamb, whilst Daniel Bell-Drummond has joined Raiders Unlimited & will share a dressing room with Andre Fletcher, Corbin Bosch & Bipul Sharma.
Darren Stevens has joined the UMMC Knight Riders alongside Sohail Tanvir & Mohammad Mohsin.
Former Kent Second XI player & now Worcestershire batter Kashif Ali will feature for the Florida Scorpions.
The opening matches of the tournament will begin at 09:30 local time on Wednesday 5 October, with Quarter & Semi Finals on Saturday 8 October & the Final at 11:00 local time on Sunday 9 October.
