Kent Cricket complete the loan signing of seam bowler David Balcombe

Kent County Cricket Club has today agreed a one-month loan signing of 26 year old, Hampshire seam bowler David Balcombe.

The right-arm bowler made his county debut in 2005.He has taken 72 first class wickets, as well as 10 wickets in one day cricket and Twenty20.

Commenting on his move to Kent, Balcombe said: "I am really pleased to be joining Kent for this period, and look forward to the opportunity to represent the county and contribute to success for the Club.”

Kent’s team director, Paul Farbrace, added: "We are really pleased that the deal has been agreed with Hampshire and we now hope that David will do very well for Kent.We have added him to the squad for the Championship game against Surrey starting tomorrow.”
