Kent Cricket joins British Association for Sustainable Sport

Kent Cricket is delighted to announce its membership of BASIS, the British Association for Sustainable Sport – the environmental sustainability hub for sport in the UK.

For more than a decade, BASIS has driven the growth in understanding, expertise & commitment on sustainability in sport, helping members to shape & achieve their sustainability goals, & deliver a positive environmental impact through sport.

The Club is committed to working to reduce its carbon footprint & to use cricket as a force for good within the community.

Through BASIS membership, Kent Cricket joins a host of leading clubs & governing bodies in securing a place in the top tier of sustainability in sport.

Kent Cricket’s Director of Operations, Nimmo Reid, said: “We’re delighted to join BASIS.
