Kent second team lose to Sussex at Canterbury

Kent“s second eleven lost their Championship match against old rivals Sussex, by 32 runs, at Canterbury. Chasing a victory target of 242, to beat their near neighbours, Kent were eventually dismissed for 209 in their second-innings. Chris Piesley top-scored with 61 while skipper James Hockley (pictured) contributed 39.

The second-team are next back in action on the 27 of July, when they travel to Cheltenham to take on Gloucestershire
