All-rounder Matt Coles took career-best figures against his former county in the reverse fixture last week.

Hampshire can call upon an overseas duo of West Indies T20 World Champion skipper Darren Sammy and Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi.

Kent opener Daniel Bell-Drummond is the top-scorer in the tournament and said: "I've been happy with my form and I'm looking to carry this on through the season.

"It takes a bit of time for me to adapt to the different formats so it's good we have a block of 2-3 weeks of white-ball cricket so I can hone my skills a bit more.

"It's different for every player but I like to train and hit balls constantly to feel good going into the middle, going between the swinging red-ball and striking the white ball. I'm getting used to it and it's as hard for bowlers too.

"We started well against Somerset and we're looking to continue that form in the NatWest T20 Blast. The T20 crowds at Canterbury are brilliant so it's good to see the cricket we're playing is bringing the crowds in.

"The supporters enjoy seeing the players grow up through the Kent system and we wouldn't be here without them."
