Kent County Cricket Club is pleased to announce the ICC World Twenty20 Trophy will be on show here at the St Lawrence Ground on Friday, 11 June during our Friends Provident t20 match against Middlesex Panthers, starting at 5.30pm.

There will be the opportunity for members and supporters to have their picture taken with the trophy, by a professional photographer, and the images will be available free of charge from www.ecb.co.uk/fpt20, 24 hours after the match.

Kent“s England international James Tredwell (pictured), who was part of the Twenty20 squad, said: "The encouragement we received during the tournament from fans, both out in the Caribbean and back at home, was outstanding and on behalf of the squad I would like to thank everyone for their support. The reception since we’ve returned home has been fantastic and I’m delighted that people will have an opportunity to have their picture taken with the trophy, here in Canterbury, this summer."

Chief executive officer, Jamie Clifford, said, “We are delighted to have the trophy coming here during our match against the Panthers. We are expecting bumper ticket sales for Twenty20 and with the World Cup on the ground it should be a very special evening.”
