Kent play the United States national team for the first time on Thursday (1pm GMT) on the 2018 FGS Plant Tour.

With four matches in seven days, the bowlers are set to be rotated to avoid any niggles being aggravated ahead of the county season.

Left-arm spinner Imran Qayyum could earn a recall in place of rested James Tredwell with Matt Hunn, Adam Riley and Oliver Robinson also in contention for a run-out with Mitch Claydon rested and Grant Stewart out with a hamstring strain.

The USA squad is yet to win in their first three group games and features former West Indies batsman Xavier Marshall and two former India U19 internationals Saurabh Netravalkar (a left-arm seamer from Mumbai) and Sunny Sohal (a right-handed batsman who has played for three IPL franchises).

Kent will be aiming to make it a third consecutive win before the second round of group fixtures starts on Saturday against Guyana.
