Kent’s Women and Girls Teams Reach National Cricket Finals

Kent women’s and girls’ cricket has had another season of resounding success, with the women’s team currently top of the County Championship table and through to the national Twenty20 final.

The last Championshipmatch is to be played on 2nd September v Essex (venue to be confirmed) and the Twenty20 final will be played on 27th August at Wokingham Cricket Club.

The U17 girls are through to the final of the ECB Championship competition, having won the Southern Group, and will play at Reading Cricket Clubon 29th and 30th August.

And finally, the U15 team, also having won the Southern Group, play their final at Dunstable Cricket Clubon the 27th and 28th August.

Jason Weaver, Kent Cricket’s High Performance Manager is delighted, commenting; “This is an impressive record. We are willing them to win some finals and emulate the success of previous year's teams.”
