Key named in Englandís 15-man World Twenty20 squad

KENT captain Rob Key (pictured)has been named in England“s 15-man squad for June’s ICC World Twenty20. England will be led in the competition by Paul Collingwood, nine months after resigning the one-day captaincy.

The squad also includes Middlesex batsman Eoin Morgan and Essex duo James Foster and Graham Napier.

Key all-rounder Andrew Flintoff has been named, subject to him regaining full fitness following surgery on his right knee.

Commenting on Key“s inclusion, Kent Professional Cricket Manager, Simon Willis, said: ‘I“m very pleased for Rob. He has worked hard over a number of years to get back into the national squad and hopefully he will get an opportunity to show what he can do.“

Key“s county colleague, Joe Denly, missed out on selection.
