Kent and England all-rounder Laura Marsh hopes to help New South Wales to an eleventh consecutive Women's National Cricket League title.
The 28-year-old Kent Cricket Academy graduate is the Breakers' first international player, which they have won 17 out of 19 50-over championships.
Marsh will be the team's frontline spinner and took 0/33 on her debut from 10 tidy overs in a last-ball win against Western Fury at the WACA, Perth.
The Breakers lost to South Australia Scorpions on Sunday with Marsh ending with 0-38 off eight overs and not batting as NSW lost by a single run despite skipper Alex Blackwell's 118 from 139 balls.
