The St Lawrence Ground is located approximately 1.5 miles (33 minute walk) from Canterbury West station and 1 mile (20 minute walk) from Canterbury East station.
Situated approximately a 10 – 15 minute walk from the ground, parking is available at New Dover Road Park & Ride, operated by Canterbury City Council.

James Vince and Joe Weatherley’s half-centuries maintained Hampshire Hawks’ unbeaten home record and fused them to the top of the Vitality Blast men’s competition South Group.

The duo put on 101 for the second wicket, notching 63 and 61 respectively, before Tristan Stubbs boosted the Hawks to 190.
Tawanda Muyeye’s fifty put Kent Spitfires on track but Sonny Baker’s four for 25 and Scott Currie’s three for 30, tied with their sensational death bowling gave Hampshire an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

The return of Australian all-rounder Sean Abbott, for his fourth overseas player stint at Surrey, was announced just before the start of the season and welcomed by all at the club. Abbott is available for the whole Blast competition, in addition to Surrey’s first eight Rothesay County Championship games.
It is a source of intense irritation at the Kia Oval that Surrey have still not managed to add another short-form triumph to the winning of the inaugural Twenty20 Cup back in 2003 under Adam Hollioake’s captaincy. Despite reaching eight Finals Days since, there has been no more silverware.
In a star-studded squad Ollie Sykes, at 21, is primed to push on again this summer after making 10 appearances in last year’s Vitality Blast and impressing with his powerful strokeplay despite limited opportunities in such a strong and deep batting line-up. Overall, last year’s quarter-final exit against a Ravi Bopara-inspired Northamptonshire has only cranked up still further Surrey’s resolve to win the Blast and get a monkey off their back.

Team News
Men’s Head Coach Adam Hollioake has named a squad of 15 to face Surrey at the St Lawrence Ground.
Sam Billings leads a squad that includes Bangladesh international Hasan Mahmud, who has returned to Kent early to help the Spitfires try and reach a knockout birth.
Hasan will be available for selection in Kent’s two home matches to conclude the Group Stage of the tournament – including Middlesex on Sunday 12 July, which is now confirmed as a 2:30pm start.
Tom Rogers & Keith Dudgeon are also included in the squad, with two overseas players permitted in a Playing XI.
Tawanda Muyeye made a return from injury last time out and hit a half century away at Hampshire Hawks, and is included again to face Surrey. Leg-spinner Matt Parkinson also returns to the squad.
Homegrown talent Ekansh Singh is once again included in a first-team Vitality Blast squad, but is yet to make his T20 debut for his home county. Another Kent-produced player yet to make his career T20 debut, Jaydn Denly, has also been selected.
Joe Denly will be unavailable for this weekend’s fixtures after sustaining a blow to his lower leg whilst fielding at Hampshire.
Fred Klaassen also misses out due to a hamstring injury, and will also not be considered for selection this weekend.
Jake Lintott is a Kent Spitfire on loan until the end of the tournament and is included in the squad. Off-spinning all-rounder Bertie Foreman has a two-month contract with the Spitfires that runs until the end of the Vitality Blast, but the left-handed batter has not been selected.
As previously communicated, Joey Evison has joined Leicestershire on loan for the remainder of the Vitality Blast, and Dian Forrester has left the Club to feature for Texas Super Kings in Major League Cricket.

Kent Spitfires vs. Middlesex start time confirmed
Kent Cricket can confirm that Kent Spitfires’ final Vitality Blast Group Stage fixture against Middlesex at the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury on Sunday 12 July will begin at 2:30pm.
The Spitfires will welcome Middlesex to conclude the Group Stage of this T20 Summer, in the reverse fixture of the opening match of the tournament, which Kent won by 27 runs.
All ticket buyers have been contacted via e-mail communicating this confirmed start time, and their match tickets will be re-issued showing the 2:30pm start.
