Match Preview: Kent Women finish season with T20s

Whilst Kent’s hopes of the domestic double are over for this year, if the Horses win both matches and other results go their way, a second placed finish is achievable in the final standings of this tournament.

Last time out, Kent hosted Middlesex Women and Birmingham Bears Women at The County Ground, Beckenham – coming away with a win and a defeat from that round of fixtures.

Alice Davidson-Richards scored 92 runs over the two matches, whilst good performances from England international Fran Wilson and Kent T20 skipper Tash Farrant kept Kent in good stead going into this weekend.

Grace Gibbs played her first competitive fixture for the Horses after a long injury lay-off with a knee injury, and is again included in the squad.

Tammy Beaumont, Laura Marsh and Fran Wilson are still on England duty and are unavailable for selection.
