Marcus O’Riordan could be in line to make his first-class debut after averaging 31.85 with the ball and 28.95 with the ball in the Second XI Championship this season.
Darren Stevens is included in the travelling squad and is two wickets away from reaching a career milestone of 500 first-class scalps. Mitchell Claydon is also one victim short of 300 career first-class wickets.
Kent currently sit in fifth position in Division One, 69 points ahead of Nottinghamshire in last place.
