Members’ Match Day Ticket Ballot Update: 13/05/21

The Club is pleased to confirm that all Members and Season Ticket holders in both Priority Groups 1 & 2 that applied for Match Day tickets to attend the next two home LV= Insurance County Championship matches against Glamorgan on Thursday 20 – Sunday 23 May and Northants on Thursday 3 – Sunday 6 June, have been successful in the ballot process.

After Priority Group 1, Priority Group 2 includes all Annual Members that had their membership fees in 2020 retained and renewed after the early bird deadline, together with 6 Pack holders that didn’t claim a refund and rolled over their Season Tickets into 2021.

All successful Priority Group 1 & 2 applicants have now been contacted by e-mail.

As well as receiving confirmation of the matches they are able to attend, Members will receive a step-by-step guide on how to claim their tickets through the Club’s new online Members portal using their Invicta Number.

Members and Season Ticket holders are urged to act quickly to secure their tickets and will have until 17:00 on Monday 17 May to claim their tickets before they are returned for reallocation to the waiting list.

The Kent vs Sussex match in July – which is designated as the 169th Canterbury Canterbury Week – is currently oversubscribed, but the Venue Operations team are continuing to review capacities in line with government guidance and COVID protocol.

The Club will provide a further update on Priority Group 2 access to this match by Friday 28 May.

Chief Executive, Simon Storey, said: “Over 5,000 match day tickets have already been claimed by Members across the three remaining Championship group stage fixtures, which shows how much interest there is in attending Kent Cricket matches.

“We’d like to thank Members and Season Ticket holders for their patience as the team in the Club Office work hard to help our Members and Season Ticket holders get to know the new Membership & Ticketing system.

“We appreciate that the process is complex but the Club is determined to allow as many Members and Season Ticket holders as possible to watch live cricket this season.

“Numbered seats, named tickets and tickets that can be printed at home or downloaded to a phone is helping us achieve this in line with government guidelines for the return of crowds.”
