Mitch Claydon stars with bat and ball on Newcastle City return

Mitch Claydon marked his return to grade cricket with a batting cameo and a wicket for Newcastle City.
Fresh from a month in New Zealand at Central Stags, the 33-year-old skipper smashed six boundaries as he scored 43 off 56 balls as City posted 228.
In reply, Claydon struck with the new ball as opponents University were reduced to 45 for three off 18 overs.
The match resumes next Saturday (19 December).
