Mitch Claydon takes wicket as Central Stags win again

Wednesday 11th November 2015

Mitch Claydon took his first wicket for Centrals Stags as they won their second successive match in the Georgie Pie Super Smash in New Zealand.

He struck to remove Brad Cachopa, brother of Sussex keeper Craig in his first spell to reduce Auckland Aces to 12-2 before they recovered to reach 134 for five in 20 overs.

In reply, Stags slipped to 27 for five before teen all-rounder Josh Clarkson smashed 68 not out from 48 balls to guide them home.

Next up for the Stags is Wellington Firebirds next Thursday (19 November) at the Saxton Oval in Nelson.
