New look membership and ticketing packages available

Thursday 18th November 2010

All Rounder, Championship Plus, Spitfire and Six Pack are just some of the new offerings from Kent County Cricket Club, who launched their 2011 membership and ticketing packages to the general public earlier today.

Commenting on the new range of offerings, Kent Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Clifford, said: “I am excited about our membership and ticket packages for the 2011 season. We have worked hard to produce a range of options that fit with people“s lifestyles. There is already a buzz around about the coming year; with floodlights, a refurbished pavilion and improved facilities, we really will be the leading sports venue in the county. We hope that many will join our already loyal and strong membership and be a part of the action.”

The club has a wide range of membership options to suit the needs of everyone in 2011. Members will get to watch every minute of every match for just £200. There are also other new specific offerings, in line with the feedback the club received from the completed surveys and focus groups. Below, you can read more on three of the new options.

Championship Plus: Designed for those who particularly like LV= County Championship and Clydesdale Bank 40 cricket. For £170, if purchased before the end of the year, people can watch every minute of both competitions. This is a saving of 65% on a game by game equivalent.

Spitfire Ticket Package: For the cost of £150, people, who enjoy limited overs cricket, can go for Spitfire Ticket Package, which offers a saving of 50% and access to all Friends Provident t20 and Clydesdale Bank 40 matches.

Six Pack: If one can only make a handful of games then the Six Pack, for just £80, offers asupporter any six days of cricket throughout the 2011 season. This package offers great value and flexibility for those who lead particularly busy lifestyles.

Kent cricket supporters are being encouraged to act early and purchase their memberships for the 2011 season before the end of the year. The club is offering a special 10% early bird discount to all those that purchase on or before 31 December. Existing and new members will also benefit further as prices have been cut for next season, with savings of up to 70% on daily prices.

With the ongoing ground redevelopment, there will be fewer car parking spaces at the St Lawrence Ground. This will prove challenging for everyone but, hopefully, the redeveloped ground, with much improved facilities, will compensate this. The club has also extended the amount of spaces it has available at the nearby Simon Langton Grammar School for Girls, on Old Dover Road. If you would like to request a copy of the 2011 membership brochure, please email communications.kent@ecb.co.uk or call 01227 456886.

The competition structure for the 2011 season will be finalised shortly and the club will inform all members of the programme as soon as it arrives.
