Nine Kent Talent Pathway graduates retained in The Hundred

The Hundred’s Retention Window has now closed ahead of the 2024 tournament, with nine cricketers that have come through the Kent Cricket Male & Female Talent Pathways retained by their respective Franchises.

Zak Crawley & Daniel Bell-Drummond could open the batting in The Hundred as well as for the Kent Spitfires in the Vitality Blast this Summer – both were retained by London Spirit on The Hundred Transfer Deadline Day.

Kent Spitfires’ T20 Captain, Sam Billings, has been retained by Oval Invincibles after leading them to the Men’s title in 2023. He’s joined in the capital by Tawanda Muyeye, who has also been retained by the Invincibles. Tash Farrant, who’s nearing recovery from a back injury that ended her season in 2023, will also be at the Oval – she’s joined by Kent teammate Ryana MacDonald-Gay.

Fred Klaassen stays with Manchester Originals, Alexa Stonehouse remains at Trent Rockets, and Alice Davidson-Richards will also be staying on at Northern Superchargers.

Tammy Beaumont, who became the first woman to score a Hundred century last year, is retained by Welsh Fire for 2024.
