Kent captain Tammy Beaumont returns to the squad for the away double-header in the Midlands against Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire Women on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (May 27 and 28, 11am).

After home wins against Lancashire and Yorkshire, the England opener was unavailable for the defeats at Middlesex and Hampshire due to a niggle and England commitments.

The World Cup-winning opener scored a combined 133 not out in the two wins.

With England places up for grabs ahead of next month’s Royal London ODI series against South Africa, all-rounder Alice Davidson-Richards, spinner Laura Marsh and seamer Tash Farrant will keen to impress with a home match at The Spitfire Ground on Friday 15 June.

Vice-captain Davidson-Richards averages 37 with the bat so far but will keen to contribute more wickets with the ball.

Marsh returns to the side after taking nine wickets at an average of 9.33 in her three appearances to date with fellow off-spinner Megan Belt passing 100 senior wickets last weekend with seven wickets this season at 10.86 and a miserly economy rate of 2.35.
