Monday 21st March 2011

Kent County Cricket Club announced to today that Buzzlines Travel have formalised their partnership with the Club having signed a three year contract.

Under the official heading as ‘Exclusive Coach and Travel Partner’ the Hythe based company will not only transport the County players to a variety of away matches but will also offer members and supporters a range of new opportunities to support their team. ‘We are very excited to be working so closely with the Club and the different organisations that feed into it,’ stated Buzzlines Travel Director Kathryn Busbridge. ‘We are all keen cricket followers so to take care of the boys and get them safe and sound to away venues is a thrill.’

Other aspects of the new partnership will include a number of options for members and supporters to book with Buzzlines Travel giving them the opportunity to attend distant venues. This is likely to include an overnight trip to Rotterdam, where the Kent Spitfires play the Netherlands in a Clydesdale Bank 40 over fixture in July. Closer to home it is planned that coach trips from the East of the County will be arranged to transport supporters to both the Tunbridge Wells Cricket Festival and the two Friends Provident Life t20 matches in Beckenham.

Kent Cricket CEO Jamie Clifford noted that, ‘it’s great to have a travel partner that not only moves the team around comfortably and safely, but also offers new opportunities for our members and supporters to be there with them. They will also be giving preferential access to our people to the huge array of day trip and holiday opportunities that Buzzlines Travel operates.’
