Royal London One-Day Cup semi-final tickets on sale

Kent Spitfires will take on Warwickshire on Thursday (September 4) for a place in the Royal London One-Day Cup final after a dramatic 24-run home quarter-final win over Gloucestershire.

Kent will face Warwickshire at 2pm on Thursday for a place in the 50-over final at Lord’s and will be televised live on Sky Sports.

All four semi-finalists came from Group B with Durham v Nottinghamshire Outlaws in the other semi-final on Saturday (September 6).

Kent defeated Durham by 2 wickets in the group game before fixtures at Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire were washed out.

The semi-final showdown will be eagerly anticipated by the club aiming for their first trophy since winning the Second Division title in 2008.

Kent Cricket CEO Jamie Clifford said: “I’m delighted for our players – they have worked extremely hard to achieve the success they have in the competition.

“I’m delighted too for our members and supporters who have been terrific and are now rewarded with a semi-final tie.”

Tickets will go on-sale at 10am on Saturday, 30 August from www.edgbaston.com and 0844 847 1902.

Adult tickets are priced at £10 and entry is free for Kent Members and Under 16s.
