Roz Franklin to retire

Cricket administrator and sports centre manager Roz Franklin is to retire after more than 18 years at the club.

Roz has managed the Ames Levett Sports Centre looking after facilities for players, schools and clubs and will be stepping down to spend more time with her family.

In her time at the club, she has supported the establishment of the Kent Cricket Academy, supported the Pharon Indoor Cricket League and the expansion of the age-group cricket programme.

Roz said: “I’m looking forward to throwing off the shackles of work and continuing with my travels and exploring the world.

“A highlight of my time at Kent was the Twenty20 Cup win at Edgbaston and I was there to enjoy the celebrations.”

Kent Cricket CEO Ben Green said: “We’re sorry to see Roz leave us but she goes with our best wishes and thanks for all that she has delivered during her time here.

“Roz has been very supportive of all our squads from Under-11 level to Academy and our first teams and will be greatly missed.”
