Friday night’s result was an extremely tough one for us to take.
Collectively we must hold our hands up and admit that we just weren’t good enough in front of what was a sell-out crowd.
You, as Members and supporters, played your part yesterday, and we did not. Thank you to everyone that was at the St Lawrence Ground last night to support us.
We now must put things right and end on a high against Middlesex. We need to be clearer in our plans, and ‘on it’ from the first ball to get the job done.
I personally would like to thank all of you for your support, both home and away, during the Vitality Blast this Summer.
Together, we then move on to the Metro Bank One Day Cup and the back end of the Rothesay County Championship.
We hope to build some momentum heading into the second half of the season.

Kent Spitfires vs. Middlesex start time confirmed
Kent Cricket can confirm that Kent Spitfires’ final Vitality Blast Group Stage fixture against Middlesex at the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury on Sunday 12 July will begin at 2:30pm.
The Spitfires will welcome Middlesex to conclude the Group Stage of this T20 Summer, in the reverse fixture of the opening match of the tournament, which Kent won by 27 runs.
All ticket buyers have been contacted via e-mail communicating this confirmed start time, and their match tickets will be re-issued showing the 2:30pm start.
