Spitfires earn home T20 quarter-final

THE Kent Spitfires have earned themselves a home tie in the quarter-finals of the Twenty20 Cup after a 17-run victory over the Surrey Brown Caps at Beckenham.

The win means that Kent finish top of the Twenty20 Cup South Division.

The draw for the last eight will be made shortly on Sky Sports and we will announce Kent“s opponents as soon as it takes place. The game will be played at Canterbury and ticket details will follow – as soon as we know the date of the match. It will be either the 27, 28, or 29 of July.

And don“t forget there is four-days of LV County Championship cricket, this week at Beckenham. Kent, looking for an immediate return to Division One, play league leaders Gloucestershire. The game starts this Tuesday.
