Strong Kent presence in England Development Programme competition

Kent will have four young representatives in the London and East side at the annual England Development Programme Under 17’s Super 4’s competition being held at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough University later this month.

Seamer Tom Davis (pictured), wicketkeeper/batsman Jordan Cox, leg-spinning batsman Isaac Dilkes and off-spinner Hugh Scott will be part of a side alongside players from Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Essex and Middlesex.

They will go head-to-head over the week of August 20th-25th against sides from the North, the Midlands and the South & West regions.

This is the sixth year of the annual tournament which aims to provide an opportunity for players with the highest potential to showcase their skills whilst competing with and against other high potential players in an environment that will accelerate their technical and tactical development.

Kent Cricket High Performance Director Jason Weaver was delighted with the selection news.

He said: “Each place is a deserved one. They have all worked extremely hard and deserve their selection.”
