Supporters Club unveil plaque
Kent County Cricket Supporters Club has unveiled a plaque at the ground commemorating all the grounds that have hosted county cricket in the club’s history.
The metal plaque, designed and created by artist Suzanne Norfolk, features the 15 grounds used by the club as a home venue since the inception of the County Championship in 1890.

Eight home matches in 1890 were played at six venues: Gravesend, West Malling, Tonbridge, Canterbury, Beckenham and Maidstone.
Long-standing Supporters Club member Alan Wright left the Club a very generous legacy and it was decided to mark this gift was to erect a plaque on the ground displaying all the grounds that first class cricket has been played on by Kent.
