Women's County T20

Surrey/Sussex Women v Kent Women (Sunday)

Kent continue their bid a fourth Women’s T20 title as the Vitality Blast continues with a double-header against Sussex and Surrey at Billingshurst.

None of the England players involved in the Royal London ODI series nor the Academy friendlies will be available so wicketkeeper Lauren Griffiths is set to skipper the side in the absence of Tammy Beaumont and Alice Davidson-Richards.

Laura Marsh and Tash Farrant are also unavailable so there could be an opportunity for teenagers Kirsty Dymond and Grace Scrivens to make their senior T20 debut.

Kent play hosts Sussex at 10.30am before taking on Surrey at 1.30pm.

Kent squad: Megan Belt, Izzy Cloke, Kirsty Dymond, Phoebe Franklin, Grace Gibbs, Lauren Griffiths (wk), Jodie Hobson, Jenni Jackson, Hannah Jelfs, Arlene Kelly, Chelsey Rowson, Grace Scrivens

Sussex squad: Georgia Adams (c), Flora Bertwhistle, Izzy Collis, Ella Freeborn, Chiara Green, Nancy Harman, Ella McCaughan, Cassidy McCarthy, Tara Norris, Paige Scholfield, Linsey Smith, Ella Wadey, Lucy Western

The final double-header in the competition against Middlesex and Warwickshire takes place at The County Ground, Beckenham on Sunday 1 July. Entry is free for Kent Members, Under 16s and Canterbury Christ Church staff and students.
