Secure your space now for another huge Vitality Blast season in 2020, in the Club’s 150th Year.
For the first time in five years, ALL of our home matches in the tournament will be at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence in Canterbury.
Together, we can build #FortressCanterbury, and make The Spitfire Ground an even tougher place for opposition to come to.
The Spitfires kick-off their home matches on Friday 29th May with the resumption of the oldest rivalry in the history of world cricket against Surrey – a fixtures that can be traced as far back as 1709. To this day, this fierce rivalry clash draws sell-out crowds at The Spitfire Ground, St. Lawrence.
The visit of Hampshire on Sunday 31st May will be this year’s Family Day, with fun-filled activities for all ages throughout the day.
Join us on Saturday the 6th of June for our 150th Year Celebration – celebrating the first Century and a half of this great Club. Details will be announced in the coming weeks before ‘Blast Off’ this May.
Sussex Sharks will come to Canterbury on Friday 19th June for another hotly contested derby under the lights and in our fervent Friday night atmosphere.
Kent will also contest the ‘Battle of The Bridge’ against their noisy neighbours, the Essex Eagles, on Sunday 21st June, a sell-out fixture last year, finishing a huge double-header over that weekend.
The Spitfires’ match against Somerset, a fixture that is always well-fought and exciting, falls during the 168th Canterbury Cricket Week on Friday 3rd July.
Kent’s final home match of the South Group stage will be against Middlesex on Sunday 12th July, in what could be a decisive fixture in determining quarter final places.
We need YOU to build #FortressCanterbury with us!
