Elvis will be making a very special appearance at the floodlit St Lawrence Cricket Ground on Friday night, when Kent Spitfires face Essex Eagles in the Friends Life t20.

The Spitfires return to the St Lawrence Ground having won their last two home matches, the most recent of which was enjoyed by a bumper crowd of 4,500. Whitstable based Elvis impersonator, Neil Duncan will thrill the crowds with a set of Elvis’ hit songs from 6pm, prior to the match commencing at 7pm. The St Lawrence Ground, in Old Dover Road has recently been through a period of redevelopment, with the impressive new facilities, including bars and hospitality boxes now in use.

Jamie Clifford, Kent Cricket CEO commented; “Friday night is definitely going to a big night at the St Lawrence Ground. ‘Elvis’ will be a great addition to the evening, and with our new facilities open and the Kent Spitfires going well it should be an excellent night of t20 cricket under lights.”

The St Lawrence Ground really will be getting all shook up this Friday, Kent Cricket have been offering free mojito cocktails with advance purchase tickets as part of their Bacardi Mojito Girls Night Out package. This promotion has now sold out, but regular tickets are still available, online at a pre-purchase price until 5pm, and on the gate prior to the match.
