Player Biography
Shirt Partner – Kent Sports News, Steve Wolfe
Kent’s resident gloveman has continued the memorable trend of fine wicketkeepers to have graced the county. Since making his debut in 2001, Geraint has been a mainstay of the side.
Impeccable behind the stumps and a heavy run-scorer, the man born in Papua New Guinea has enjoyed a thrilling career at the highest level.
Last season, Geraint found runs a little harder to come by, but his huge experience within a young squad remains crucial. His 403 Championship runs came at an average of 23.71 whilst he was also a regular in the Spitfires YB40 side.
Sharp glovework enabled Geraint to claim 41 first-class victims and he regularly took the captaincy reins in the absence of England’s James Tredwell.
