Player Biography
The great South African pace bowled joined the county on a five-week contract at the end of April 2010. Ntini has been the spearhead of the Proteas attack for over ten years, after making his Test match debut in 1998, when he became the first black African international cricketer to represent the country. He has taken 390 Test wickets, in 101 appearances, and became the first South African to take ten wickets in a Test match at Lordís in 2003. The 32 year-old has also excelled in the shorter form of the game taking 266 wickets in 173 ODIís. Ntini has already had a taste of county cricket. He played for Warwickshire during the summer of 2005.
