Player Biography
England international Matt Parkinson has represented his country in all forms of the game after making his debut for his country in an IT20 against New Zealand in 2019.
He joined Kent from Lancashire on a three-year contract from 1 November 2023, joining the county on loan for the 2023 Metro Bank One Day Cup, where he took 29 wickets in 13 matches, making his debut against Yorkshire Vikings at Scarborough.
He made his first-class debut for Kent in the first match of the 2024 season in the County Championship against Scarborough, being presented his debut cap by all-rounder Joey Evison.
Parkinson secured his first five-wicket haul at The Spitfire Ground as a Kent player in his second home first-class match, taking five wickets in an innings against Surrey.
