Rupert (“Paddy”) was born and raised in Bromley, playing his early cricket for Bickley Park CC, before moving to Bromley Town CC and then Hayes CC.

He qualified as a barrister in England in 1988 and Ireland in 1998, practicing in chambers in London, playing league cricket for North Middlesex CC and wandering clubs.

In 2018, he moved his practice to Sevenoaks and in 2022 opened offices in Canterbury.

He specialises in company and commercial law, with particular emphasis on insolvency and sport. He joined the Club’s General Committee in 2021.
