Australia’s Wes Agar became a Kent player in early 2023, in an overseas stint that included bowling in tandem with India international Arshdeep Singh as the Club’s international bowling duo in the County Championship.
The right-armer took 21 wickets in Kent’s 2023 Championship campaign in six matches, including best figures of 5-63 against Northamptonshire in June.
He also took seven wickets in five Vitality Blast matches that season, averaging 21.85. He took two catches in T20 competition, including an acrobatic one-handed effort to dismiss Kiran Carlson against Glamorgan.
In November that year, he was announcing as return to Kent across all formats until the end of July 2024.
