Will Gidman signed for Kent in October 2016 following a successful loan spell from Nottinghamshire earlier in the year.
The all-rounder also played for both Durham and Gloucestershire scored five fifties for Kent in Specsavers County Championship matches, and claimed 10 wickets in 11 matches in all formats including 3-28 against the latter in Kent’s run to the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-finals.
