Representative Cricket at all age levels is extremely important for the development of talented cricketers. It provides the opportunity for players to be challenged and have their skills tested to a greater extent than in normal competition. Many players (men and women) who progress along the pathway to first class and international standard have participated in representative cricket at various age group levels. See further down the page for the Talent Pathway Girls Age Group squads that we run.

Girl's Development Programme (GDP)
Established in 2017, Kent Cricket introduced the Girl’s Development Programme to support those players deemed to have the highest potential of progressing further, to play for Kent Women or onto the England Pathway.
Players are selected post trials to be included on the programme by the Talent Pathway Coaches, who typically select from the Under 15 or Under 17 squads. Players are grouped around their primary skill and invited to a series of sessions, alternating between skill development and fitness/fielding sessions.
Additionally, players are offered further bespoke individual support around their, strength & conditioning, life scheduling and pastoral support.
For further information please contact the Kent Women’s Coach David Hathrill who manages the GDP.
Our rules and what we expect
Kent Cricket sets high standards for our staff and programmes and seeks to achieve them. In turn, we expect our young cricketers and their parents/guardians to meet certain standards. It is important that we all know what we are delivering and what is expected of the players. To clarify this, parents/guardians and players are required to sign up to a series of Charters and abide by our policies.
Each of these policies are issued to parents/guardians before registration, as well as being downloadable on the right of your screen ⟶
